Dawn Hand Renewal With Olay Beauty Pomegranate Splash |
Dawn dishwashing liquid is a household name, and it is a trusted product that my family has used for years. It is manufactured by Proctor and Gamble and is widely available at most grocery stores, mass market retailers, and drug stores. I bought Dawn Hand Renewal with Olay Beauty at a local Winn-Dixie store in the 19 oz. bottle for $2.50 (The regular price there is $3.49 and I bought it on sale). It is a bit pricey compared to others, but I think it is worth the money. Proctor and Gamble almost always offers coupons for this product once a month in the Sunday newspaper.
Dawn Hand Renewal with Olay Beauty comes in many varieties: Pomegranate Splash with vitamin E, Lavender Silk with vitamin E, Aloe vera scent, and Waterfall Mist. The only variety that I have used in this product line is Pomegranate Splash with vitamin E. It is a creamy, viscous, liquid that is pink colored, contained in a transparent bottle, with no handle. It does not contain phosphates.
You know, washing dishes is very therapeutic for me. I sing or reflect on different things as I wash my dishes. I like the feel of the warm water and soft suds on my skin. It takes me back to when I was a child and my snuff-chewing, Georgia bred aunty would tell me to do the dishes after dinner. I never want doing the dishes to feel like a chore. Dawn Hand Renewal with Olay Beauty is one of those products that makes the process smooth and easier.
This product is a powerhouse: Not only does it clean the food residue and grease from the dishes, it smells so lovely and makes your hands feel soft. I don’t worry about wearing cumbersome rubber gloves while doing the dishes with Dawn Hand Renewal. I know that my skin won’t dry out. It is like pampering yourself to a luxurious spa treatment for the hands while doing the dishes (Okay. That was a tad bit hyperbolic, but I really love this product).
I usually add about ¼ cup of Dawn Hand Renewal to a large basin of warm water. This is enough for me to do the dishes all day long. The product is thick and forms a lot of suds. Although the suds may die down, the solution doesn’t lose it’s potency and cleaning power after sitting .
The makers of Dawn Hand Renewal are claiming that the product transforms the look and feel of your hands in just five uses. Well, from my experience, there was no real change in the look of my hands after using this product. However, the product did make my hands feel softer after a few uses. So, in closing, Dawn Hand Renewal with Olay Beauty gets five stars and two thumbs up from me.
