This is a review of Nivea Kiss of Flavor cherry tinted Lip Care. I bought this product in the .017 oz (4.8g). tube at CVS pharmacy for about $3.00, minus coupons and other discounts. You can probably buy it at other retail locations for around $2.50. It costs a little bit more than a comparable brand, such as Chapstick. However, you receive much more product compared to some other brands. Nivea Kiss of Flavor Lip Care is available in Strawberry, as well. The one that I bought is older and Nivea has come out with Kiss of Flavor Lip Care with SPF 10 level sunscreen in them.

Nivea Kiss of Flavor cherry tinted Lip Care is supposed to provide the lips with a light tint, while moisturizing them. It is also supposed to taste like cherries. It does not taste like cherries to me, but it does have a scent similar to lipstick. It truly does give the lips a slight red tint, but the tint does not last very long. This is a little funny considering that the balm stick is a very rich red. I find that the moisture doesn’t even last very long.

Nivea Lip Care, Kiss of Flavor goes on smoothly and doesn‘t feel or greasy. I like the way that the product looks on my lips (not too shiny) and the way that it makes my lips feel initially. With that said, I have to reapply the product several times per day, because it wears off very easily. I don’t feel that it moisturizes my lips as well as, say, Chapstick or Blistex. I am still prone to chapped and splitting skin on my lips when I use Nivea Kiss of Flavor cherry tinted Lip Care.

Nivea Lip Care has better performing lip balms than this one. I wouldn’t really recommend this product to a person that seeks relief for chapped lips. If you are more interested in a product that gives your lips a little color, without greasiness or the boldness of lipstick, then this product might work for you. I think that Nivea Kiss of Flavor is mediocre when it comes to the moisturizing effect and I won’t buy it again. I will continue purchase some of their other Lip Care products, though.
